More Information About Baby Massage
Baby massage is a part of a holistic approach to caring for and nurturing your baby. It has many benefits for both carer and child.
A brief history of baby massage

Baby massage has been around for many years. It is an ancient art which both promotes and enhances the deep emotional, spiritual and physical bond between parent and child. It has numerous benefits for both parties, bringing them closer together in a fun and structured class environment.
The massage sequence that I teach has been developed by Vimala McClure who is the founder of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). Baby massage, as taught by Vimala, combines Indian Massage, Swedish massage, Reflexology and Yoga in a simple but effective programme which parents/carers can incorporate into their baby’s everyday daily routine.
International Association of Infant Massage
The mission statement of the IAIM is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
The International Association of Infant Massage is a collective consisting of thousands of ordinary people from around the world who are passionate about ensuring that every baby receives nurturing touch as a fundamental human right.
